Escon Japan Reit Investment Corp is a closed-end real estate investment trust (REIT) focused on investing in lifestyle-oriented assets. The Fund aims to achieve stable income over the medium to long term and steady growth of its managed assets through continuous investment. The Fund’s objectivity is to maximize unitholder value by investing primarily in lifestyle-related properties located in Japan’s five major metropolitan areas. The portfolio targets more than 60% in commercial facilities, up to 20% in residential properties and up to 20% of assets that contribute to a sustainable society. Commercial facilities are characterized by providing daily necessities and services, transportation accessibility including proximity to train stations and locations in densely populated residential areas or along major roads. The asset manager of the Fund is ES-CON ASSET MANAGEMENT Ltd.
